About Us

We are a fast-growing, vertically integrated coffee business, with a strong presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage our financial records, support daily transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including the general ledger, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements.
• Prepare various schedules, workings, and reports for the month-end closing of books.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Support the Finance Manager in carrying out departmental responsibilities.

Cash & Bank Transactions

• Collect cash, POS transactions, and cheques from the sales team daily.
• Prepare pay-in slips and ensure daily deposits into bank accounts.
• Verify and account for cash, cheques, and bank remittances received from customers in the ERP system.
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash-in-hand reconciliation on a daily basis.

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Generate customer statements of accounts from the ERP system and share them with customers.
• Follow up with the sales team and customers for pending payments daily.

Accounts Payable & Payroll

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring balances match supplier records.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll, including generating and submitting WPS files.
• Calculate gratuity, overtime, and final settlements in compliance with UAE labor laws.

Tax & Compliance

• Assist in filing VAT and excise returns by maintaining proper financial records.
• Coordinate external audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor queries.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and accounting principles.

Other Responsibilities

• Prepare ad hoc reports as required by the Finance Manager.
• Assist in system improvements and process optimization for better financial efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or coffee-related businesses.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, WPS payroll processing, and UAE labor laws.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
