Overview

The Account Manager - Business Intelligence will focus on the growth of Dow Jones Business Intelligence client portfolio in Qatar, with a strong focus on Risk & Compliance and Factiva. Our solutions help financial and corporate customers with their anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing and third-party risk management programmes, as well as identifying investment opportunities. The Account Manager - Business Intelligence will initiate sales activity with new buying centres and new prospects across the region. Client relationships are built and maintained via telephone, email, and in-person meetings. An ability to develop strong business relationships in a phone-based and in-person environment is crucial to the success of this role. The Account Manager - Business Intelligence is accountable for the development and implementation of sales strategies and best practices to achieve revenue objectives and targets. Given the focus on risk & compliance, the Account Manager role requires extensive knowledge of compliance regulation across the region and familiarity with Risk and Compliance solutions available on the market.

You Will
  • Meet new business targets by aggressively growing revenue for our Business Intelligence solutions in Qatar.
  • Retain and grow our existing client portfolio, ensuring our solutions address their needs.
  • Build strong relationships with senior-level customer contacts to expand business opportunities.
  • Manage all areas of the account, including understanding clients' businesses and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities in the CRM and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Project manage by coordinating with internal teams like Product, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Service to achieve sales goals.
  • Work collaboratively on proposals, RFPs, and tenders with the extended team.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business to achieve individual revenue goals.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our Risk & Compliance business through thought leadership.
You Have
  • Four-plus years of experience selling to financial institutions and government entities in Qatar.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English , along with a degree-level education.
  • Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations across the region and familiarity with market solutions.
  • A strong ability to drive new business opportunities and upsell to existing customers.
  • A solution-based sales approach and an understanding of how to match our solutions to customer needs.
  • Experience in selling information and / or compliance tools to senior decision-makers.
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and handle multiple activities simultaneously.
