The role is for an Assistant Consultant within the Climate Change and Air Quality team based in Johannesburg, working on international projects with a focus on greenhouse gas reporting and climate change risk assessments. WSP Africa also undertakes projects outside South Africa, offering travel opportunities and access to diverse decarbonisation and climate resilience projects.
From a global perspective, WSP Africa supports our Australian and Canadian operations and collaborates closely with our UK team, providing unique opportunities within our Climate Change team.
An Honours degree or higher in a relevant engineering or environmental science discipline. A Master's level qualification by dissertation is preferable. Minimum 2 years' experience in climate change consulting. Some experience with proposal writing and technical report writing is advantageous.
