Key Purpose

The primary goal of this role is to implement, entrench, and improve the use and effectiveness of VPO in the plant to achieve business results.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with safety standards and foster a safety culture.
2. Manage the Plant as the Pillar Owner.
3. Analyze losses and waste to identify gaps between the Management System and VPO, and drive corrective actions.
4. Review VPO gap closure and scores monthly and quarterly, with updates to the Zone.
5. Coordinate VPO activities with other Pillar owners for integrated implementation and improvement.
6. Interface with the Zone VPO team for reporting across all Pillars.
7. Identify and develop VA initiatives, monitor current VA commitments.
8. Standardize and document routine meetings like MCRS and TORs.
9. Collaborate with Zone and regional VPO teams to meet implementation expectations.
10. Ensure adequate training resources for management pillar training needs.
11. Track and monitor GOPs compliance, submitting monthly scores to the Zone.
12. Lead, coach, and train team members.
13. Promote continuous engagement of personnel in the Plant.
14. Standardize 5S implementation across Plant Departments.
15. Accurately track and submit VPO data for the Plant and Zone.

Minimum Requirements

1. Over 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Excellence or Department Management.
2. Engineering qualification (advantageous).
3. Proficiency in MS Office.
4. Assertive interaction skills at all levels.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. Motivated team player.
