Customer Care Representative
Job summary
A recruitment agency in South Africa is looking for a Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries and credit limits. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong problem-solving mindset, and experience in sales administration or customer service. Knowledge of the logistics industry and experience with SAP is advantageous. This role offers opportunities for collaborative work across multiple departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in sales administration or customer service environment.
- Knowledge of the cement, manufacturing, or logistics industry is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily customer credit limits and inform customers approaching their limits.
- Handle customer queries via the customer care line and WhatsApp.
- Liaise between Customer, Logistics, Sales, and Finance regarding account issues.
- Communicate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) for customer loads.
- Manage general account queries.
- Conduct quarterly customer surveys to assess service satisfaction.
- Perform data capturing tasks as required.
- Assist with general logistics and administrative duties when needed.

- Proficient in office software and data management systems.
- SAP experience
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (advantageous).
- Minimum 23 years experience in sales administration or customer service environment.
- Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Module (advantageous).
- Knowledge of the cement, manufacturing, or logistics industry (advantageous).
