Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Assurance Specialist to join their team in Brackenfell. This role involves conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office. Travel within South Africa and other African countries is required. Competitive compensation is offered.
Qualifications

- Professional Internal Audit qualification (preferably CIA).
- Valid driver's licence and own transport.
- Prior experience in the transport or logistics industry is advantageous.

- Manage audit relationships with line management, including performance feedback and remedial action follow-up.
- Oversee quality control and assurance functions, ensuring timely reporting of deviations.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor a comprehensive quality assurance system.
- Advise on the establishment of standards and procedures and participate in related audits.
- Ensure compliance with legislated and internal quality standards.
- Prepare and present clear, detailed audit reports and recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
