Qualifications

  • BCom degree with completed articles at an accounting/auditing firm.
  • 10+ years' experience in inventory accounting (manufacturing or logistics environment preferred).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (JDE and Salesforce).
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly stock meetings across South Africa and Kenya.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Execute cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
  • Conduct regular book-to-book reconciliations with third-party stock holdings.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with corrective action plans.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple third-party service providers.
  • Oversee month-end stock reconciliations and inventory provisions.
  • Lead and develop the inventory operations team.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and finance teams.

This is a pivotal role ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination across operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Engineer, you'll manage inventory operations across multiple warehouse locations in South Africa and Kenya, leading a team of logistics professionals. This fast-paced position requires someone who thrives under pressure and can maintain excellence when managing competing priorities.
