Job description

Support in the development of Talent Attraction strategies

  • Collaborate with the internal recruitment team to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates aligned with transformation and talent initiatives.
  • Lead the delivery and implementation of targeted approaches, processes, and systems to facilitate talent management and improve outcomes, including enhancing bench strength and talent ratios, in line with SBV Services’ overall talent strategy.
  • Provide insights and incorporate external recruitment trends, such as diversity and inclusion data, time/cost to hire, and key metrics, into strategies to keep the department agile and aligned with business needs.
  • Manage workstreams within Talent Management to support strategy delivery, such as improving time-to-hire and reducing cost-per-hire, and create sourcing requirements and talent pools.
  • Develop an understanding of sourcing requirements within HR and communicate these to the broader SBV Services.
  • Build talent pipelines for key positions and future requirements, utilizing internal databases and external resources to maintain a steady pipeline.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to promote and implement high talent culture initiatives.
  • Research and implement innovative advertising options, leveraging social and professional networking sites to source candidates.
  • Assess candidate suitability based on skills and fit for the business.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to proactively build pools of candidates for learnerships and Y.E.S programmes.
  • Establish and manage a secure environment for personal data access across HR, facilitating stakeholder engagement and joint solutions development.
  • Collaborate with the business to develop relationships, overcome barriers, and support talent initiatives aligned with transformation targets.
  • Maintain professional relationships across the business to influence talent management practices effectively.
  • Network with industry contacts and associations to source high-quality candidates and promote SBV Services as an employer of choice.
  • Represent SBV Services at career events as a brand ambassador.
  • Utilize social media and communication channels to support brand awareness and promote talent initiatives internally and externally.
  • Identify revenue opportunities within the Cash Ecosystem and other markets by leveraging HR expertise and maintaining data integrity for reporting.
  • Build and maintain a candidate database for reference and talent pooling.
  • Analyze resourcing performance, report trends, and provide recommendations based on talent metrics and ratios.
  • Provide market trend insights and integrate them into monthly reports.
  • Analyze digital innovation trends in talent attraction, prepare analytics, and support forecasting and improvements in CoE practices.
  • Maintain data quality and accuracy in internal databases and talent systems governance.
  • Develop and uphold Talent Acquisition principles, standards, policies, and procedures in line with SBV Services’ ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies, including POPI.
  • Conduct audits and trend analyses as needed, supporting annual audits and reporting on ESG standards.
  • Align with SBV Services’ ISO standards and support ESG initiatives, ensuring positive reflection and outcomes.
  • Lead change initiatives as an ambassador, inspiring transformation and ethical leadership.
  • Motivate and influence employees to achieve business continuity and goals.
  • Drive SBV Services’ values, fostering confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • Communicate a clear narrative on change initiatives to secure buy-in for talent management functions.
