Senior Frontend Chapter Lead (Cape Town)

This product / app allows organizations to manage and protect their data across a broad range of environments, including modern and legacy infrastructure, on-premises or in the cloud, with cloud-native, containerized workloads, and a growing number of SaaS applications. “The Netflix of Data Management”

Your key responsibilities :

This role requires managing a team of professional engineers, providing mentorship and leadership. Help establish an operating rhythm that enables the team to perform at their best. Develop the chapter’s capabilities through skills development and coaching. Oversee learning & development programs for developers and suggest training topics based on emerging needs. Address complaints and concerns affecting the chapter’s morale and performance. Promote design thinking within engineering forums.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to create world-class interfaces. Foster an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Our required expertise :

• Experience with the full SDLC and working in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
• Experience in building complex web applications (ReSTful APIs, security best practices, scalability).
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure products and services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI / CD and Git.
