Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to take the creative lead on projects such as catalogues, packaging, and marketing campaigns. You will guide a small team of designers and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio and at least 5 years of design experience, including leadership in previous roles. This is a hands-on position offering a salary of R35,000 – R38,000 per month.

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who thrives on big projects, fast-moving deadlines, and the chance to see their work out in the real world. You’ll take the creative lead on catalogues, packaging, and marketing campaigns for our automotive products, while guiding a small team of designers to deliver at a consistently high level.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves design detail but also enjoys leading from the front.
Salary: R35 000 – R38 000 per month.

- Create striking layouts and visuals that showcase products and strengthen brand presence
- Manage multiple projects at once, from briefing to final sign-off, with tight deadlines in mind
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to turn concepts into polished, high-impact creative
- Uphold and evolve brand standards across all design work
- Minimum 5 years’ design experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or leadership role
- Portfolio that shows strength in catalogues, packaging, and campaign design
- Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of print production and packaging design
- Confident leading projects from start to finish, balancing detail with deadlines
- Organised, proactive, and a natural problem-solver
- Experience with Figma or Canva is a plus
