An established and exclusive financial planning organisation is seeking a meticulous and motivated Tax Administrator to support their Tax Director, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of professional and personal service. This role combines precision in tax administration with proactive executive support, contributing to a seamless client experience.
The ideal candidate is organised, analytical and client focused with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. You will oversee client tax submissions and compliance while providing administrative support to the director.
This position is a full-time, permanent, in-office role (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities:
Tax Administration:
Complete and submit personal and provisional tax returns (IT12) for clients
Obtain and verify supporting information, including investment income and certificates
Prepare calculations and obtain Director sign-off before submission
Submit to SARS and follow up until finalisation
Manage compliance for individuals and estates, including provisional tax
Handle objections, disputes and follow ups with SARS
Onboard new clients and maintain accurate eFiling records
Keep clients and planners informed throughout the process
Administrative Support:
Manage the Director's diary, correspondence and travel
Prepare reports, presentations and meeting materials
Organise meetings and events, ensuring the Director is well prepared
Maintain filing and contact management systems
Screen calls and manage general administrative tasks as required
