Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate commentary and variance analysis.
• Develop annual and quarterly financial budgets, forecasts and long-term projections.
• Manage cashflow planning, monitoring and reporting to ensure financial stability.
• Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations and month‑end close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to track revenue, cost control and profitability across outlets or business units.
• Assist with external audits, tax submissions and statutory requirements.
• Identify process improvements and implement more efficient financial workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom in Accounting or equivalent (essential).
• 510 years experience in a similar accounting role preferably within the hospitality, hotel, restaurant sector.
• Strong experience in preparing budgets, management accounts and cashflow reports.
• Proficient in accounting software (Sage, Pastel) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Highly detail‑oriented with a proactive and solution‑driven approach.
