KS-1Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will act as the key link between customers and the engineering department analyzing client needs, developing tailored technical solutions, and supporting the full sales cycle from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and design customized technical solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive technical presentations highlighting product features and benefits.
  • Consult with clients to develop and refine technical specifications and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and tender documentation based on customer specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and sales teams to ensure solutions align with technical and commercial objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, universities, associations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the achievement of sales targets through solution-driven engagement and long-term customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales, preferably within the Industrial or OEM sectors (e.g., Offroad, Power Transmission, Railway, Raw Materials).
  • Proven success managing the complete sales cycle, from planning and prospecting through to closing deals.
  • Experience in channel management and developing partner networks.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with reliability, commitment, and a strong drive for results.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60% of the time).
