Job summary

A healthcare provider in the Western Cape is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for orthopaedics to deliver quality nursing care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have an Enrolled Nurse Certificate and basic life support training. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate nursing records, and supporting a learning environment. This is an on-site, permanent position with preference given to applicants in accordance with Equity Plans.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• 1 year post-qualification experience desired for specialized units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
