Job Title

HR Generalist (EE)

Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town

Package: Negotiable up to R40 000 + Medical Aid & Provident Fund (R45500 CTC P/M)

Role Purpose

Support the HR Director and HR Manager in delivering end-to-end HR generalist services, contributing to a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace. The role covers Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent Management, HR Administration and Industrial Relations within a unionised environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IR support including disciplinary processes and CCMA/Bargaining Council representation
  • Manage union engagement, monthly meetings and conflict resolution
  • End-to-end recruitment, ensuring EE & BBBEE compliance
  • Coordinate onboarding and maintain accurate HRIS and employee records
  • Support talent management, performance reviews, development plans and engagement initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with HR projects and events
Requirements
  • Degree in HR Management / Industrial Relations (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation
  • 4–8 years’ HR Generalist experience (multinational exposure advantageous)
  • Proven experience in CCMA/Bargaining Council matters
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills
