Affirm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the Acquisition & Onboarding team. You will set technical direction, drive architecture, and elevate full stack development across mobile, web, and backend systems.

The role focuses on building trusted first interactions, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-impact features. You will collaborate with product, design, and analytics to shape initiatives, ensure reliability, and push for operational excellence across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading mobile initiatives.
• Experience with React Native and native platforms.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and guide engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics across the lifecycle.
• Ensure monitoring, triage, and on-call readiness for your team.
• Identify and lead resolution of project, process, or tech issues.
• Maintain artifacts with metrics and proactive escalations.
