Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Acquisition & Onboarding team. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive architecture across mobile, web, and backend systems to improve conversion and growth.

You’ll lead cross‑functional collaboration with product, design, and analytics, own quarterly goals, and build scalable, high‑quality code while elevating engineering standards across the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience leading mobile initiatives and cross-functional launches.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend with Python/Kotlin.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics in the development lifecycle.
• Own monitoring, on-call, and reliability for team components.
• Identify and drive resolution of project, process, or tech issues.
• Raise ownership of artifacts with metrics and escalation when needed.
• Raise quality by codifying reviews and architectural standards.
• Mentor and develop team members through feedback and example.
