Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CMS ONC Interoperability project. This role involves managing and supporting all ELT jobs, the SmileCDR tool, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping. The Senior Business Analyst will also be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the SmileCDR tool, ensuring it meets project requirements.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions.
- Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards.
- Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability.
- Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards.
- Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards.
