Affirm is a remote-first company redefining credit. We seek a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to guide the Acquisition & Onboarding team, set technical direction, and elevate full stack delivery across mobile, web, and backend systems.

You will own quarterly goals, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and drive high-quality, scalable solutions that improve conversion and growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience leading mobile initiatives and defining architecture.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
• Backend systems development with Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals for the team and guide engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to align technical decisions with business needs.
• Ensure operations, monitoring, triage, and on-call readiness for team reliability.
• Mentor teammates and raise code quality through reviews and standards.
