Job summary

Axon is seeking a seasoned Deployment Engineer for the Global Operations team to implement and deploy real-time emergency service platforms to 911 PSAPs across the US. This fully remote role requires coordinating complex deployments, delivering advanced training, and guiding customers through technical challenges.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success, traveling up to 50% as needed, and work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on lifesaving technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a technical role related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deployment Expertise: Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• 911 Systems Technical Depth: Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers.
• Customer Relations: Be a trusted advisor and provide ongoing deployment support, including after-hours work.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve deployment processes and documentation for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work across Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to ensure seamless delivery.
