Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer for its Global Operations team, fully remote in the United States with up to 50% travel. You will lead end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling platforms, train customers, and collaborate with engineering to solve complex issues while maintaining excellent customer relations.

The role emphasizes technical depth in 911 systems, cross-functional teamwork with Sales, Engineering and Support, and ongoing process improvement to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 8+ years of experience in a technical role related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers during deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor to our customers and provide ongoing deployment support.
