Job summary

Axon is seeking a senior deployment engineer to lead end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions, working with 911 PSAPs and customers across the United States. You will train customers, collaborate with engineering, and drive successful implementations in a fast-paced environment.

You will be a trusted advisor, providing post‑deployment support, improving processes, and coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 8+ years in a technical role related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work with customers to understand needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer during deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering on complex solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor and provide post-implementation support.
