Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end deployments of our cloud call-handling solutions for 911 PSAPs, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure successful activations.

You will train customers, collaborate with engineering, and guide deployments from planning through activation, with remote/onsite work and up to 50% travel. We value strong communication and project delivery skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work closely with customers to understand needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer during deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor and provide ongoing deployment support, including after-hours work.
