In this role, you will contribute to projects, making breakthroughs in design, development, testing, debugging, and implementing software applications supporting end users. The Capital Markets IT involves solutions used in trading, investment, and related activities, including electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, data analytics, and regulatory measures, increasingly leveraging APIs, AI, and cloud technologies.

The department develops and maintains applications like Murex, Apex, Calypso, Asset Control, and in-house market risk systems. The FX division supports the full value chain to sustain and accelerate business activities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Researching, designing, developing, and analyzing user needs for software solutions
• Identifying and resolving issues with organization-wide impact, including security risks and threat modeling
• Managing software configuration, releases, and supporting quality testing teams
• Updating and enhancing software capabilities, developing testing procedures
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration, troubleshooting, and debugging
• Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Participating in R&D proof of concept projects
• Creating automation tools and scripts using Python, shell scripting, etc.
• Supporting team collaboration, sharing ideas clearly
• Applying analytical and problem-solving skills, working under pressure, and communicating effectively with business users
• Working with hardware engineers to integrate infrastructure constraints
• Developing in Java for Calypso v14.4, including internal components
• Managing incidents, requests, change management, and supporting operations
• Driving continuous improvement and coaching junior team members
• Researching, designing, and developing software, analyzing user needs, and integrating hardware/software systems

Skills required:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting capital market applications and trading systems, with knowledge of financial products
• Expertise in Calypso back-office modules and functionalities
• Understanding of financial assets and trade lifecycle
• Experience with regulatory reporting
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure, follow technology trends, and learn new technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and Microservices (Spring Boot)
• Exposure to Capital Markets applications and implementation projects
