Operations Manager – Apex Signages
Apex Signages is a fast-growing signage company. We create high-quality, innovative signage solutions for major brands, corporations and government sectors. We are hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to lead project execution and installation works.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of fabrication, production and installation
Plan manpower, schedule jobs and allocate resources
Coordinate with suppliers, factories and subcontractors
Ensure all works meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Land Transport Authority (LTA), mall/landlord regulations) BCA Corp+1
Review technical drawings, shop drawings, installation schematics and regulatory submissions
Prepare risk assessments, method statements and maintain site safety compliance
Drive process efficiency to reduce delays and optimise cost
Work closely with sales, design and accounts teams for smooth hand-overs
Monitor project progress and report performance, issues and improvements
Lead, train and develop the operations and installation team
Requirements & Industry Standards
Minimum 3 years experience in operations or project management in construction, signage, fabrication or related industry
Strong knowledge of building regulations, site safety procedures, technical submissions and compliance filings
Experience managing installers, subcontractors and cross-functional teams
Fluent in English and Mandarin (for liaising with suppliers/factories)
Excellent coordination, planning, problem-solving and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus
High accountability and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
Familiarity with industry regulatory standards: e.g., signage must comply with URA / BCA guidelines for height/projection/permitting in Singapore BCA Corp
