Operations Manager – Apex Signages

Apex Signages is a fast-growing signage company. We create high-quality, innovative signage solutions for major brands, corporations and government sectors. We are hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to lead project execution and installation works.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of fabrication, production and installation
  • Plan manpower, schedule jobs and allocate resources
  • Coordinate with suppliers, factories and subcontractors
  • Ensure all works meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Land Transport Authority (LTA), mall/landlord regulations) BCA Corp+1
  • Review technical drawings, shop drawings, installation schematics and regulatory submissions
  • Prepare risk assessments, method statements and maintain site safety compliance
  • Drive process efficiency to reduce delays and optimise cost
  • Work closely with sales, design and accounts teams for smooth hand-overs
  • Monitor project progress and report performance, issues and improvements
  • Lead, train and develop the operations and installation team
Requirements & Industry Standards
  • Minimum 3 years experience in operations or project management in construction, signage, fabrication or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, site safety procedures, technical submissions and compliance filings
  • Experience managing installers, subcontractors and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (for liaising with suppliers/factories)
  • Excellent coordination, planning, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus
  • High accountability and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with industry regulatory standards: e.g., signage must comply with URA / BCA guidelines for height/projection/permitting in Singapore BCA Corp
