Job summary

A leading mental health institution in Singapore is seeking a psychologist to provide psychological services for inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include psychotherapy and contributions to research activities. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Psychology and an interest in clinical services. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with Honours (2nd Upper and above) in Psychology required.
  • Interest in clinical psychology and community services work is essential.
  • Experience in facilitating groups is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological services including psychotherapy and triaging.
  • Contribute to research activities within the department.

Job description

You will provide a range of psychological services for both inpatients and/or outpatients within the psychiatric services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological services that include psychotherapy review/triaging as well as individual and group psychotherapy
  • Contribute to research activities within the department
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree with Honours (2nd Upper and above) in Psychology
  • Interest in clinical psychology and related community services work in Singapore
  • Experience in facilitating groups
  • Computer literate – basic skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
