About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Singapore. This role combines local HRBP responsibilities for Motion Singapore with Regional HR responsibilities for Asia, supporting multiple divisions within Motion:

  • MOSE – as Regional HRBP role
  • MODP, MOHP, MOTR, MOMN – as Regional Advisory role
Your role and responsibilities
Local HRBP – Singapore
  • Implement HR strategies and plans related to organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
  • Drive high performance in line with global standards, KPIs, and targets.
  • Represent HR in the business, building strong relationships with local leadership and employees.
  • Interpret HR analytics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and ABB integrity standards.
Regional HRBP – MOSE
  • Partner with the Regional Service Manager in the implementation of the divisions’ strategy & people priorities to ensure local growth, productivity and people development.
  • Supports and coordinates the planning and implementation of the necessary initiatives, such as workforce planning, capability development or change management.
  • Establish and keeps track on key HR KPIs within the region and builds situational awareness for leadership.
  • Lead key HR processes for the region, talent acquisition, annual salary review, STI assignments, talent management (IBR/PRS) & engagement action planning.
  • Act as senior coach & mentor for the Service Leaders & Organizations.
  • Foster collaboration across countries and divisions, nurturing the MOSE local HRBPs network in the region.
Regional Advisory HR – MODP, MOHP, MOTR, MOMN
  • Serve as a consultative partner, providing expertise and guidance on HR initiatives and business cases.
  • Facilitate and champion knowledge sharing and collaborative forums across the region.
  • Act as a Motion representative in regional HR networks, ensuring connectivity and alignment.
  • Support capability building for the HR function in the region.
  • Provide senior advisory support in regards of our license to operate (integrity, labor relations etc).
Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, with proven expertise as an HR Business Partner in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, compensation & benefits, and organizational development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • High learning agility.
  • Data driven mindset.
  • Efficient in leading change and transformation.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
  • You hold valid work pass for Singapore.
