Job description
Responsibilities:
- Schedule / expedite the procurement of assigned parts and materials in accordance with the master production plan.
- Follow MRP to release Purchase Orders or Request for Quotations to suppliers.
- Initiate/conduct negotiations according to established standards of cost delivery and responsiveness with suppliers.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Seek improvement within cost/lead-times.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Business/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in electronics components and assemblies to support offshore manufacturing unit.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience in SAP system & R&D environment is an added advantage.
- Work Location: Ubi (MacPherson MRT)
