Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Job Description:

You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis of finance-related functions of our organisation, such as Payroll, Costing, Management Accounting, Corporate Governance, etc. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  2. Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  3. Conduct variance analysis to assess performance against budgets and forecasts.
  4. Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, trends, and opportunities.

Reporting and Presentation:

  1. Prepare and present financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  2. Contribute to the development of executive-level presentations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide guidance.
  2. Collaborate on special projects, providing financial expertise and analysis.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications from reputable universities, recognized by ISCA.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 1 year in a reputable and large public accounting firm.
  3. Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (SAP preferred).
  4. Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Meticulous and adept in working under pressure and tight timelines.
