IT Engineer (MES/Manufacturing)
Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an IT Engineer to manage, support, and maintain MES systems. The successful candidate will design and develop MES applications and provide Level 2 & 3 support to ensure production lines operate smoothly. Requirements include a degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with SQL and high technology environments is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience CIM with High Automation, MES and SECS/GEMS.
- Experience in high technology manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, and maintain MES systems.
- Design and develop assigned MES applications.
- Provide support for proper operation of production lines.

- Monitoring, support, and maintenance and documentation of the MES systems
- Design, develop, maintenance and continuous improvements of assigned MES applications and components
- Provide Level 2 & 3 supports for the proper operation of Production lines
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields. Diploma with relevant experience will be considered
- Min 2 years of experience CIM with High Automation, MES and SECS/GEMS
- Knowledge of basic SQL in Oracle and Java
- Experience in Tibco (TIB / RV) / high technology manufacturing environment is an advantage
- A good team player with good communication skills and able to work independently
