This is a greenfield initiative, leveraging modern engineering practices and cloud‑native technologies, offering engineers genuine ownership, visibility and long‑term impact.
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Model relational data and optimise SQL queries (PostgreSQL or similar)
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
- Deploy and operate containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes and GitOps
- Partner with business and compliance teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Ensure security, reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance across the platform
- Strong commercial experience with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases
- Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows (e.g., Argo CD)
- Solid understanding of backend system design and API development
- TypeScript exposure
- Observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Workflow engines (Flowable, Camunda)
- Experience in financial services, KYC, or regulatory systems
