The Role
Job Description Main Responsibilities and Deliverables
- 5–8 years of experience in C# / .NET development, with proven expertise in custom API development and system integration.
- Proficient in writing SQL for integration queries, with familiarity in at least one of the following databases for query optimization and tuning : MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Desirable to have knowledge of architectural patterns, but well‑versed in best practices, and technical standards.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Perform or participate in code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Hands‑on experience in developing complex software applications and components, write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design and implement integrations with various systems and third‑party services.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and work in a multi‑disciplinary environment with Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts and PMs to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Should be able to work independently & complete complex tasks. Interface independently across various teams both internally and externally as needed to complete the work assigned.
- Planning and Performing Unit and functionality testing to ensure fit to design.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- Proven experience in working in a complex matrix environment, global teams across multiple time zones
- Able to handle tasks from multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously is necessary
- Has high-attention to details and works well in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Quick Learner committed to take on challenging tasks with an analytical mindset combined with high ability for self‑learning is essential
- Actively seeks information, and shares knowledge with others
Ideal Profile
Professional Capabilities
- Desirable to have familiarity with Java plug‑in development,
- Familiar with coding concepts for ensuring high scalability, multi‑user and secured coding
- Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance issues
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms including services relevant to .NET application deployment and management.
- Experience in building, deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including writing YAML manifests.
- Proficient in using version control systems (GitHub) and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) pipelines (Jenkins)
- Exposure to application servers, web servers, JavaScript, Unix and basic commands
- Experience working in Banking Industry, Actimize, AML, KYC and Fraud solutions are highly desirable
- Experience in designing, developing AI based solutions is desirable
