Job summary
A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional. The role involves preparing journal entries, ensuring accurate billing processes, and performing month-end closing activities. Qualifications
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in accounting discipline.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Ability to commence on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for transactions.
- Ensure accurate recording of receipts.
- Administer monthly revenue accruals and recognition.
- Review monthly financials for accuracy.
- Prepare management reports and presentations.
Skills
Education
Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and posting of journal entries transaction
- Ensure receipts are recorded accurately
- Ensure billing and accounts receivables process comply with company policies and statutory requirements
- Administer monthly revenue accruals and revenue recognition
- Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure receipts received promptly
- Resolve issues/problem on invoice and collection with relevant teams and departments
- Month-end closing
- Prepare and posting of journal entries transaction
- Analyse monthly variances between actual and budget/ projection
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Review monthly financial to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the financial information
- Prepare monthly business financial presentation slides
- Update various reports for indicators to support decision-making and evaluation
- Min Degree / Diploma in accounting discipline
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Able to commence on a short notice
