Job summary
A leading catering company in Singapore is looking for individuals to assist in various food preparation tasks, including setup, cooking, and compliance with hygiene standards. Candidates should be ready to handle food responsibly, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensure a positive experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist delivery of catering food to event venue.
- Assist in set up and tear down of catering set ups.
- Verify and endorse all incoming products & raw materials.
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
- Produce high quality plated dishes.
- Assist in preparation, washing, peeling, and cutting food ingredients.
- Clean food preparation equipment and kitchen tools.
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Solve any issues that arise in a resourceful manner.
- Monitor portion control to meet requests and minimize waste.
- Maintain a positive professional approach with customers.

- Produce high quality plated both design and taste-wise
- Assist in preparation, washing, peeling, chopping, cutting all food ingredients.
- Cleaning the food preparation equipment and other kitchen tools, housekeeping.
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Monitor portion control to meet requests and minimize waste
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers
