The incumbent for this position will perform receiving, in-process, and outgoing inspection as well as analyze results using statistical techniques for any trend violation.

• Perform acceptance test on receiving material, in-process intermediates and Finished Goods.
• Analyzing customer RTV/in-house retain samples to support customer complaints investigation and/ or process troubleshooting.
• Support QC measurements for engineering studies, product scale up and technology transfer.
• Review SPC trend and highlight any trend abnormality to production engineering.
• Issue Production Batch Ticket to production via JDE ARS system.
• Advise on rework procedure to Production.
• Conduct calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Conduct periodic Measurement System Analysis.
• Liaise with vendors on maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and of lab equipment.
• Generate monthly SPC report for customers.
• Generate COA (LIMS).
• Generate monthly scrap report.
• Internal auditor for Management system (QMS/EMS/OHSAS).
• Ensure good housekeeping of the laboratory at all times.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned.
• Able to perform overtime when required.

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry with 1-2 years experience.
• Preferably worked in a chemistry lab environment, familiar with processing chemical samples.
• Ability to operate analytical instruments with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform overtime when required.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.
• Self-motivated and collaborative attitude.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for details.
