Job summary
A social enterprise in Singapore is seeking a Cook to join their team at Pathlight School. Responsibilities include cooking Asian and Western cuisines, ensuring food quality, and maintaining hygiene standards. Ideal candidates will have culinary experience and a passion for supporting individuals with special needs. This position requires working 44 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Preferably candidates with relevant experience in culinary / food preparation skills for Asian and Western cuisine.
- Strong desire to learn about Autism and the passion to help special needs individuals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure food items are cooked and plated accurately to specifications.
- Maintain proper consistency of food quality and service.
- Ensure areas of responsibility are clean, tidy and organized.

As a Cook, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Ensure food items (Asian and Western cuisines) are cooked and plated accurately to specifications
- Maintain proper consistency of food quality and service
- Ensure areas of responsibility are clean, tidy and organized
- Ensure general cleanliness and hygiene in food prep and storage are in accordance with NEA guidelines
- Any other duties as required by Café Manager
- Preferably candidates with relevant experience in culinary / food preparation skills for Asian and Western cuisine
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with being redeploy and working in different work locations
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
- Strong desire to learn about Autism and the passion to help special needs individuals
- Location: Pathlight School (Ang Mo Kio Campus 1)
- Working Hour: Monday to Saturday, 44 hours per week
