DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Syndication and Loan Solutions is responsible for developing financing solutions, arranging loan and loan related products for the bank, assisting IBG to buy/sell loans and manage portfolio risks arising from credit, country and exposure issues.

Syndication and Loan Solutions has offices across Asia, in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India, and works closely with our coverage and industry bankers across DBS Group, to support our clients. Product coverage includes corporate loans, asset-backed financing, acquisition loans, leveraged finance, private credit and green and sustainability-linked loans.

• Originate, structure and execute syndicated loans for clients in the region
• Undertake analysis of clients’ financing requirements, transaction due diligence, debt capacity, market liquidity and pricing trends, following which make recommendations on proposed financing solutions to meet the prevailing circumstances
• Bridge financing requirements of issuers and market investors
• Prepare financing proposals, briefing notes, credit memo, term sheets, cashflow models, information memorandum and investor presentations with the assistance of junior team members
• Manage the end-to-end execution process, including preparing for syndication launch, documentation review, addressing investors’ queries and facilitating deal closing
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closing
• Collaborate with distribution team to determine underwrite, pricing, liquidity landscape and syndication strategy
• Mentor and coach junior members in the team

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
• Minimum 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking and/or loan syndication
• Knowledge on credit analysis, leveraged finance, loan structuring, loan syndication, capital markets, and/or merger & acquisition advisory
• Analytical background with strong attention to detail
• Team player possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy meeting clients and bringing ideas and solutions
