Our client is a well‑known food manufacturer offering a wide range of product portfolio. They are looking for a Group Financial Controller to oversee the full spectrum of group‑level financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting across all business units. This role provides strategic financial leadership, drives continuous improvement in financial processes, and supports business growth across the group’s markets.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the group’s financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Ensure strong internal controls, financial governance and compliance across all entities
  • Oversee group cash flow planning, liquidity management and banking relationships
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing regional finance team
  • Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic projects, investments and business performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; Chartered Accountant preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong experience in F&B manufacturing industries would be preferred
  • Proven track record in group consolidation, financial reporting, and multi‑entity management
  • Experience in tax and treasury functions is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial transformation projects
