Qualifications

Job Descriptions
- Actively conduct risk assessments at project sites and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
- Monitor and verify that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times, and take action if the specifications are not followed.
- Keep records of all activities and incidents concerning the environment on site, and issue spot fines for transgressions of activities identified in the EMP.
- Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure the permit to work system is in place.
- Report to the WSH Manager and liaise with Project Managers on workplace safety, health, and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
- Lead and advise on safety programs.
- Review and maintain the site's WSH records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Holding a Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course, Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course, or any relevant safety certificates from approved institutions is preferred.
- Registered as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least three (3) to five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract. Local candidates with building experience will have an advantage.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand documents in English and Chinese.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Working location at project site office, Lentor.
- 5.5 working days per week.
- Candidates with a short notice period or who can onboard immediately will have an advantage.
