A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a knowledgeable safety officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a registered WSHO and ECO, with a strong understanding of safety legislations and ISO standards. This position involves monitoring safety practices and providing guidance to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Registered WSHO and ECO with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction firm.
- Familiar with safety, health, and environmental legislations.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ConSASS, and GGBS.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with government health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and conduct regular safety inspections on construction sites.
- Provide technical advice and mentoring to the WSH team.

Job Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
- Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards.
- On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site.
- Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
