Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated safety manager to oversee the implementation of safety measures on project sites. You will be responsible for planning and organizing safety practices to promote a zero-accident culture and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will conduct regular inspections, prepare safety documents, and provide training to enhance on-site safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety and health measures for project site activities.
• Organize and manage safety practices to achieve zero accidents.
• Prepare safety documents in compliance with MOM regulations.
• Promote and provide training on site safety matters.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings.
• Produce Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.
• Organize Safety Committee Meetings and safety promotions.
• Act as the Environmental Control Officer.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plans and Implementing the safety and Health measures and procedures for project site works activities
• To plans , to organise , to manage , to control and implement safety measures and practices that are to lead the project towards zero accident
• To plan and prepare all safety documents , DFS , reports accordance and compliance to MOM rules and regulations to client/consultant /authorities
• To promote and provide traning to enhance the site safety and Health mattters
• To carry out regular safety inspections, meetings , discussion to all and with the proposal to control , to implement , to rectify and to improve the safety and health practices at the work site
• Able to produce RA and SWP , SOP and its implemention and evaluation
• Organising STO , Safety Commitee Meeting , safety promotion , etc per contract and authorities equirements
• To acts and to cum the duties as ECO
