Job summary

A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a skilled production manager to oversee daily operations and ensure quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have a diploma in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience, ideally with railway experience. Responsibilities include managing workflow, equipment inspections, and maintaining safety compliance. A forklift license and knowledge of SAP are required. This role offers a Monday to Friday working schedule with potential weekend standby duties.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am-6pm. Weekends on standby if required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily activities of the production line, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Meet the demands of the fulfilment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery (MHE) regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed with suppliers.
  • Meet regularly with ILS; Material Planning; Project to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for production and inventory optimization.
  • Communicating with client on order fulfilment.
  • Review and prepare production workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and service standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably in Manufacturing, Engineering, or safety related.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with railway experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Min knowledge on SAP IM Module.
  • Forklift license needed.
