Job summary

A leading metal engineering company in Singapore is seeking a skilled welder to perform TIG, MIG, and ARC welding jobs both on-site and in-house. The ideal candidate will assist the Supervisor with daily production reports while ensuring the quality of manufactured products meets customer requirements. Shift work is required occasionally, and candidates must handle maintenance tasks and customer complaints effectively. This role represents an exciting opportunity in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding (TIG/MIG/ARC).
• Ability to perform shift work when needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills regarding customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding jobs on-site and in-house.
• Assist the Supervisor with daily production reporting.
• Ensure product quality meets customer requirements.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as needed.

Job Description

• To perform welding job (TIG/MIG/ARC) in our premises as well as on site.
• Assist Supervisor in reporting to Management daily on production schedule.
• Ensure manufactured product is of quality and meet customer requirement.
• Perform shift work when the need arises.
• Assist Supervisor in other areas of work, e.g. welding, shearing, forming and others.
• Assist Supervisor in any customer complaint and workers issues.
• Assist Supervisor in delivering of finished product to customer.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects or assignments as required.

Requirement

• 5 and half working day per week
• Willing to work in Tuas South area
