Job summary

A well-established MNC in Singapore is hiring an Electrical and Instrument Engineer to support their engineering team. The role involves designing and developing control systems, reviewing project specifications, and providing technical support. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years of experience in the water treatment or petrochemical industry. The position may require travel and offers an opportunity to work with a market leader in the field.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation, particularly in water treatment or petrochemical.
  • Comfortable with overseas travelling.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems in accordance with project requirements.
  • Review project specifications and ensure designs meet standards.
  • Prepare material requisitions and evaluate technical bids.
  • Produce and approve necessary engineering documents.
  • Coordinate daily engineering tasks and work with panel makers.
  • Develop engineering standards and procedures.
  • Prepare FAT procedures and conduct necessary tests.
  • Provide training on system operation and maintenance.
  • Assist with site start-up and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support technical queries from various teams.
