Job description

Position Overview

The Warehouse, Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of Farmio’s physical supply chain operations in Singapore. This includes warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound and outbound logistics.

The role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, service reliability, and cost efficiency, while supporting Farmio’s growth and scalability objectives. The position has direct accountability for warehouse performance, inventory integrity, logistics execution, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements in Singapore

• Establish, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes

• Monitor warehouse capacity, layout, and workflows to optimise space utilisation and operational efficiency

• Coordinate basic warehouse facilities management and equipment usage

2. Inventory Management & Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits

• Monitor inventory ageing, expiry, shrinkage, damage, and discrepancies

• Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise inventory losses and write-offs

• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts

• Support month-end inventory reconciliation and reporting in collaboration with the finance team

3. Logistics & Distribution Management

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including delivery scheduling and routing

• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), transport vendors, and delivery partners

• Define, monitor, and report on logistics service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment to customers

• Act as the escalation point for delivery delays, discrepancies, or service failures

4. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency

• Monitor and control warehouse and logistics operating costs

• Track key operational metrics such as cost per order, labour productivity, and fulfilment efficiency

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and cost efficiency

• Support the implementation and adoption of systems and tools (e.g. WMS, inventory systems) to improve operational visibility and control

5. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Supervise and manage warehouse personnel, including full-time, part-time, and outsourced staff

• Conduct training on operational procedures, safety, and compliance standards

• Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, procurement, finance, and technology teams

• Prepare and present regular operational reports and performance updates to management

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics operations

• Proven hands‑on experience managing warehouse operations and inventory control

• Experience working with third-party logistics providers and transport vendors

• Ability to analyse operational data and produce clear operational reports

Preferred

• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, or perishable goods supply chains

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms

• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore
