Overview

Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled warehouse assistant to join a manufacturing environment in a leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) antenna products. The role would suit a motivated, individual looking to work as part of a friendly team.

The company is an industry leader in a specialist field with extensive experience and a well-established reputation, producing a range of bespoke and standard RF antenna products ranging from large volume products for global companies to small volume custom work for highly specific applications. The company manufactures a range of products in Singapore for customers worldwide in public safety, defence, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, construction and consumer goods.

The components in the warehouse range from small components (like screws) to finished product, that could be a size of a standard laptop.

Job Objective

Inbound Receiving Tasks

• Handle inbound deliveries of components including counting & inspection – Goods may be delivered by carton, pallet or container.
• Put away tasks from supplier or production to be completed accurately and promptly with records in SAP
• Report quality issues, damaged or defective goods in a timely manner to QC team.

Outbound Tasks

• Pick and prepare components for production team in a quick and efficient
• Pick, Pack and Prepare all outbound shipments including customs paperwork

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, discrepancies and adjustments
• Ensure inbound and outbound documentation is complete for audit and compliance

Inventory Control & Organisation

• Organize and monitor inventory within the warehouse.
• Check to ensure that stock in locations is accurate, through cycle counts
• Using Reach truck for stock movement where needed
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by following relevant H&S procedures and advising of any issues or improvements
• Undertake any reasonable ad hoc work as requested by the Site Manager

Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Intermediate level MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Be comfortable with computer-based systems. Experience in ERP (like SAP or Oracle) for stock management is a plus
• Being able to lift 10-20kg boxes regularly
• Excellent time and task management, communication and team working skills.
• Good report writing skills, with good written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be able to multitask and be meticulous
• Forklift/Reach truck licence is essential
• Preferably 3-5 years of warehouse and production experience
• Must be able to travel to Nanjing, China to oversee bonded storage in China

Working Hours

40 hours per week with 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)

Monday to Friday: 8-5 pm

Salary: $2,500.00 per month
