Job Summary:

The role of Warehouse and Cargo Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, collection and transferring of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with cargo clearance schedules to ensure timely collection upon cargo arrival.
• Ensure goods received meet quality standards and verify quantity as per documentation.
• Plan storage and optimize product storage for efficient retrieval. Manage perishable food goods with care.
• Perform warehouse duties: receiving, sorting, picking, labeling, packing, loading, and unloading goods.
• Adhere to Company SOP during sorting, picking, packing, and issuance to ensure work accuracy and work safety.
• Manage damaged goods by taking photos of defects and informing superiors for claims or site surveys.
• Maintain Company truck, proper upkeep to ensure it is clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct stock counts, monitor inventory level, and check product expiry.
• Participate in stock-taking and reconciliation activities.
• Strict adherence to food safety policy, sanitation, and good hygiene practice
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by the reporting manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher Nitec Training / Experience in Warehouse & Logistics
• Class 4 driving license is a must, preferably with Forklift license.
• Proficiency in English and ability to read and communicate product labels in English.
• Must be able to lift heavy goods, and able to work in a cold room with fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with Singapore Road & obeys traffic rules.
• Good team player with organizing and problem-solving skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality at work.
• Duty is based on roster, including weekends.
