A leading food services company in Singapore is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Control professional to manage incoming goods, oversee inventory accuracy, and assist with procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and relevant qualifications such as NITEC in Logistics or similar fields. Experience in food services or manufacturing is preferred. Competitive compensation and a collaborative workspace offered.
Goods Receiving: Verify that all incoming merchandise matches Purchase Orders (PO) in terms of quantity, quality, and unit price.
Discrepancy Management: Document and account for all rejected goods; follow up on outstanding orders with suppliers.
Inventory Accuracy: Lead monthly stock takes, account for physical discrepancies, and maintain the security of storage areas.
Physical Handling: Sorting, de-cartoning, and arranging raw ingredients. Must be comfortable handling loads up to 20kg in a central kitchen environment.
Invoice Processing: Match vendor invoices against Delivery Orders (DO) and POs.
System Management: Perform daily posting of invoices and store requisitions into the SCM system for verification by the Cost Controller.
Sales Documentation: Generate sales invoices and prepare delivery orders for outgoing jobs.
Production Liaison: Assist the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager with administrative tasks and printing orders for the packing team.
Internal Coordination: Work closely with Central Kitchen Chefs to ensure stock requirements are met promptly.
General Duties: Maintain organized filing, data entry, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Education: NITEC/Higher-NITEC or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
Experience: 1–2 years in Food Services, Manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred.
