Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to manage and maintain utilities systems. Responsibilities include overseeing the operations of chillers, steam boilers, HVAC systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate must ensure all utilities equipment operates optimally and maintain records according to cGMP requirements. This role requires readiness to respond to maintenance emergencies and support equipment commissioning.

• Perform day-to-day operations and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Support in commissioning of utilities equipment.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the following utilities systems: chillers and cooling tower, steam boilers, air compressors and dryers, HVAC systems, clean gases, purified water, water for injection, clean steam, wastewater systems and firewater systems. Responsible for maintenance of cold rooms, freezers, BSCs and LAFs.
• Perform day-to-day operations, monitoring and preventive / breakdown maintenance of utilities systems
• Perform daily logging and walkdown of site utilities systems.
• Ensure all utilities equipment is in full operational status.
• Respond to maintenance calls and emergencies, troubleshooting, utilities outage and breakdowns.
• Ensure operations and maintenance of utilities systems are compliant with safety and quality requirements.
• Maintain safe working environment through good housekeeping, safe work practices, and following permit to work procedures.
• Ensure and maintain records to comply with cGMP requirements
• Support and assist in commissioning and qualification of utilities equipment in projects.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
